Diane Koenig, Director of Nurses

I was born and raised in Mt. Clemens, Michigan with five brothers and one sister. I started my nursing career early by first becoming a candy striper and then a nurse’s aide. After high school, I enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Colorado after my basic training. I graduated in 1995 from Bethel College of Nursing in Colorado.

One month before graduating I met my husband Joseph. We were later married and moved to Maryland for about four years. In 2000, we tired of the cold weather and decided to move to sunny Florida. I worked at an area nursing home and a home health agency before taking the position of Director of Nursing at The Residence at Timber Pines in 2006.

I have one step-son, Chris, and a dog named Stewey. I enjoy spending my time off on our boat, traveling, and soaking in that Florida sunshine!
